STEVEN GATTI
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
As a School of Visual Arts alum, I've been able to work on music videos, films and contribute my skills in lighting design and camera work to various editorial agencies such as: Huffington Post and Buzzfeed. I strive to bring a film look with a textured approach to today's digital formats.
In 2016, Steven joined the editorial video team as a camera operator and gaffer where they contributed to production on HuffPost livestreams and branded shoots such as the HuffPost 'Talk to Me' series.
During their time with Richmond City Media, Steven acted as a technical lighting designer and director of photography for the creative collective and eventually becoming Buzzfeed NY's Equipment Specialist. He relocated to Los Angeles in late 2019 where he positions as Buzzfeed LA's Studio Tech Lead.
